A Single-Page Guide to the Best Clock Radio Values with Projection and Auto-Set
Here are the features and functions you need to look for when shopping for an atomic projection clock radio: Normally for regular clock radios or plain alarm clocks you’d want to make sure the LCD is big enough to see, but here it’s the quality of the projection you want to investigate carefully. Make sure you can read it well enough in the dark. The other critical factor is to make sure it has self-setting feature so it will always display the right time even there’s a power failure. Best of all these models don’t just reset themselves after the power goes out, they also update themselves in for daylight saving time.
Most of us prefer to be awakened gently rather than to jolted out of bed so consider a progressive alarm which uses a progressive rise in the alarm volume to get your attention. And even with a regular alarm be sure any model you choose has a sleep timer and a snooze buzzer since you may not want to jump straight out of bed.
How do you like to be awakened? Depending on their design and features clock radios offer many different ways to wake up: To the radio, or if so equipped, to a MP3, CD or some other player. Or perhaps a traditional alarm. Given that there are models that sing, talk, ring, or buzz, so take moment to figure out the most effective way your new clock radio can wake you up.
Are you a road-warrior? If you’re away from home frequently, whether for business or pleasure, there are actually travel projector atomic clock radios that work with AA batteries or AC electricity allowing you keep perfect time anywhere. And the batteries mean the clock continues to work if the power goes out and stays out.
If share your bed (how’s that for tact?) with someone who gets up earlier or later than you do, dual alarm clock radio models are available and the price is usually within a couple of bucks of a similar model single alarm clock.
I think it’s good to go through product manuals before buying it. That way you can exactly see what features the merchandise and how to use them. There are links for the manuals to my best buy recommendations on the right
Also look into the warranties and return policies ahead of making a purchase in case it doesn’t work the way it’s expected to when you get it home.
Is there such a thing as satellite clock radio or home theater systems or stereo receivers that you can get Sirius on them? Please give links. Thanks.
All that link is for spam mail.
Your web link has nothing on it other than get rich quick stuff on it. Do you have a link or not?
OK, I found the one you were speaking about but all of them are for cars–not for home use. Is this the only link you have?
I ordered a brand new RCA alarmclock radio and it every CD skips! it had great reviews and everything.

please help me!
I just sent an email to them, but im not sure what help that will be since i dont have any of the original boxing or receipts…AND, its been a little over 30 days…
My most recent clock broke don, so I need help. I know RCA is a bad company. Does anyone else know where I can get a good CD/Radio alarm clock? It would be nice if it was cheap, about -50. Also, it would be nice if you could listen to your ipod/mp3 player through it. Thank you soooooooo much.
I have the "Portable Handheld NWR-SAME Weatheradio" and somehow the alarm clock setting was turned on. I’ve gone through the menus and the owners manual (here: http://support.radioshack.com/support_meters/doc72/72242.pdf ) And I can’t find anything about turning the alarm clock off. Does anybody know how to turn it off?
I have an iWakeUp Clock Radio which is equipped to play an iPod, but I have an iPod Shuffle, which has a different connection. Is there an adapter that will allow me to use my Shuffle with the iWakeUp? If so, what is it called so I can find it online, probably at Amazon.
I have a small Sony cd boombox that has a AM/FM radio, cassette deck and CD player. I also have a TIMEX CD/clock/radio. Both are having the same problem when I play a cd I can hear a "shadowy" or ghost-like radio station. It’s not as loud as the cd music, but I can hear it distinctly and it drives me crazy. I’ve moved the radio frequency dial around while I play a cd to no avail. I have no idea which radio station it is either but it’s always the same station, even if I move the radio channel dial. Can I take apart and dismantle the radio receiver somehow? Would ripping off the attenae work? I only really want to use the CD/clock aspect as I rarely ever listen to the radio outside the car. Thanks for your help!
